Obituary of Mark L. Miller

Dansville- Mark Lynn Miller age 68, passed away early Friday evening July 23, 2021, at the St. John's Home in Rochester following a lengthy illness. He was born in Dansville on September 8, 1952, a son of the late Louis and Shirley (Smith) Miller. On August 8, 1992, he was married to the former Julia Enterline Steigbigel,who survives. A local entrepreneur and community member Mark and Julia were the developers of Varsity Park Manufactured Homes. It was developed on the original site of Varsity Park Restaurant, Miniature Golf, and Driving Range He also was the former longtime owner and DJ for WDNY AM and 93.9 FM Radio in Dansville. Mark was also active in his community as the former owner of Midway Roller Rink, a Dansville Little League Baseball Coach, a member of the Dansville Village Board, and a member of the Dansville Community Players stage crew. Surviving in addition to his wife Julia, are two sons, Daniel (Karen) Miller, Michael (Liz) Miller, Julia's sons, Keith (Sandy) Steigbigel, and Glenn (Rachel) Steigbigel, two brothers, Greg (Patti) Miller and Douglas (Cindy) Miller, nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. At Mark's request there will be a celebration of life at a later date. Arrangements made by the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc. 271 Main St., Dansville.
