Dansville- Gerald E. Cox - age 74 passed away early Tuesday morning August 17, 2021, at The Hurlbut Home in Rochester following a long illness.
He was born in Dansville on June 2, 1947, a son of the late James and Eleanor (Fox) Cox. He was also predeceased by siblings Donna Nichols, Larry and David Cox.
Jerry was a US Navy Petty Officer serving from 1966 to 1977 during Vietnam. He was a former employee of Johnson & Johnson in Rochester.
He is survived by a daughter Jennifer (Paul) Binis, a son Corey Cox; a granddaughter McKenzie; two brothers Dan (Gail) and Tim (Jeannine) Cox; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Saturday Aug. 21, from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc., 271 Main St. Dansville. A graveside service followed by interment with Full Military honors will be in Holy Cross cemetery Dansville. Online memorials may be at HindleFuneralHome.com.
