Obituary of Sandra May Purdy

West Sparta- Sandra May Purdy age 79, passed away peacefully Sunday November 28, 2021, at home surrounded be her family. She was born in Rochester, on January 8, 1942. She was a daughter of the late Edward J. and Dorothy (Munson) Smith. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Betty Hammond, Donna Haich, and Jerry Smith, a nephew Kevin Gascon, grandson Ryan Gillette. Sandy, worked at Eastman Kodak for many years as a circuit board technician. She also delivered the paper for the Democrat and Chronicle which she enjoyed. Sandy was a member of the Lima Ladies Auxiliary, and a member of the Women’s Bowling League. Sandy enjoyed the little pleasures of life, and her family. She is Survived by her husband, Albert Purdy, her daughter Mary (Loren) Jacobs, grandchildren, Levi (Racheal) Jacobs, Ashleigh (Ben Piatt) Jacobs, Logan Jacobs, Kolby Jacobs, great-grandchildren Trenton Jacobs and Kayne Piatt. A memorial service will be held on Sunday December 5, 2:00pm at the Hindle Funeral Home Inc. 271 Main St. Dansville. Online Remembrances can be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.
