Obituary of Gail Pike- Steiner

Dansville- Gail K. Pike-Steiner- age 61, of Dansville passed away late Monday evening February 9, 2010, at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville. She was born in Wayland, on December 28, 1948, a daughter of the late Shorty Carolynn Mae (Gilbert) Kimbel. Gail was a self employed cosmetologist in West Sparta for many years. She had also worked at the former Lang's Bakery in Dansville. In her earlier years she was a competitive Roller Skater. She is survived by two daughters, Lori (Lou) Colella of Dansville and Carie (Darin Grzenda) Pike of Livonia. A brother Ronnald Kimbel of Arkansas, two sisters, Rebecca Saunders, of South Dansville and Diane (Larry) Huff, of West Sparta. Five grandchildren, a great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 6:00pm Friday at the Foursquare Church on West Ave., in Dansville. Interment will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Springwater. Arrangements are by the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc., 271 Main St., Dansville, NY. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.
