The first time I met Gladys was in her kitchen, which we bought with the house and farm in 1992 from her, with her son and husband. They had stopped milking their cows 11 years before, and the Ken Conrad no longer rented the barn to milk his herd. The last time I saw her I stopped by her in the pleasant Mt. Morris facility, where I left a hand carved wooded mailbox sign with their names on it I found found left in the hay barn. Ms. Weber was always pleasant, and quite observant when I met her in 1992. We just enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner in her former kitchen, and part of her spirit is with the memories of her here.

Gladys was indeed a very special lady. She was always so kind and loving to the children she worked with at St. Mary's School.

Gladys was the foster grandparent in my classroom at St. Mary's for 3 years. She was such a wonderful, caring woman. I truly was blessed working with her. She talked so much about her wonderful family and she worked so hard with the students and helping me.

I have very fond memories of all of us and all the fun things we did over the years. I remember most was Gladys on the piano on the farm and then Mom (Pete) would play. It makes me sad to think how things have changed but we all shall meet in heaven one day and be so joyous... My prayers are with you all and Love you.
