Joanne Koch posted a condolence
Tom, Ellen & Family...It was a pleasure for me to know John. I worked at Shay's for a short time...and a gentleman he was. I saw him at Marketview Liq. store not too long ago and he said, Joanne this is a hell of a lot more fun than Tops". I will always remember that. It gave me my laugh for the day. John, God Bless You & May You Rest In Peace.

There was never a time that I saw Mr. Leyden that he didn't share his wonderful laugh and smile with me. He raised a beautiful family, gave me the best brother in law you could ask for and three wonderful nephews I love so much.
Mr. Leyden will be greatly missed by all
I am sorry to be so far away at such a sad time.
Love Lori

Although I did not see Uncle Bud since my mother died, I will always have wonderful memories of the times we visited. Uncle Bud, Irene and the boys were always a joy to be with. My deepest sympathy and prayers will be with all of you.
Sincerely,

Uncle Bud was my favorite uncle. He never lacked a smile and a great story. As kids, he always seemed the fun and happy fellow when he visited us over the years, mostly up at the cabin in Goshen. When he visited at the cabin, my sons just kind of hung by waiting for him to tell more stories. Since they had no grandfathers, I could get a glimpse of what they missed. What a wonderful man he was. My love to you.
